As legend has it, anyone who disturbs a tomb of an Egyptian pharaoh will be cursed, and a vengeful mummy will wreak havoc until a hero can stop it. This plastic mummy and the enormous amount of plastic debris unleashed on the coastline after the recent storm in San Diego represents the world-wide havoc caused by plastic polluters. Heroes everywhere are fighting stop the reign of terror, but it will take holding producers to account along with the courageous action on the part of leaders at all levels of government to put an end to the curse of the petrochemical industry.
